As UX Design Lead at Starform, I direct and execute UX initiatives, employing data-driven strategies to enhance player experiences for our free-to-play, cross-platform, PvP game Metalstorm. I collaborate with the founding directors to ensure viability of product features and deliver high-value, targeted improvements across product KPIs.
Previously, as Creative Director at ArenaNet, I drove the creation of an unannounced cross-platform game, partnering closely with publisher NCSoft to establish and measure product goals against evolving competitive analysis and market opportunity. Before that, as ArenaNet's Studio UX Director, I institutionalized effective UX practices across six teams and projects, built and led a team of designers and artists, and conducted regular playtesting of features across multiple titles in development.
At Motiga, I held leadership roles in UX and UI design, where I was instrumental in the development of Gigantic, a free-to-play PvP game on PC and Xbox. Before leading the UX and UI team for development of the game, I managed the UX and visual design of GIGANTIC’s website and PC lobby application for Motiga’s publishing group.
During my previous tenure at Meteor Entertainment, I drove the overall strategy, UX, and visual design of the companion website to Hawken, a cross-platform PvP game. I also provided regular UX design support to the game development team, and produced static and motion designs for online marketing campaigns and live events.
Before entering the gaming industry in 2012, I served as the Creative Director at Screenplay, Inc., where I managed Creative Services for high-profile clients, drove UX and UI design for B2B media licensing and distribution software, and developed corporate brands for ScreenPlay, Inc. and its subsidiaries.
With a BFA in Media Arts from the University of Michigan and over two decades of expertise across an expansive set of products and platforms, I've consistently inspired innovation, embraced passionate leadership, and championed the creation of distinctive, memorable experiences.
